The Flamingos grabbed a win, 4-3, at The Strip, overcoming a fine effort from Nova Scotia pitcher Andrew Johnson. Johnson went 7 innings and allowed 4 runs. Las Vegas reliever Jasper Smulders was the winner. His record is now 4-2. The losing pitcher was Andrew Johnson. With this game in the books, Las Vegas is 48-45, Nova Scotia 37-56.

Las Vegas took a 4-3 lead on Gilberto Escamilla's 2nd home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which Escamilla hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Nova Scotia pitcher Andrew Johnson visibly frustrated.
