Hogg Wins 3MSL Honor Monday, August 29th , 2050 A hot-hitting week got Mitchell Hogg the M3L Mexican Summer League Player of the Week trophy. He really wore out his welcome with league pitchers. The MSL Panama City second baseman slammed them for a .538 average, 7 hits in 13 at-bats, 4 home runs, 7 RBIs and scored 5 runs. In the postgame press conference, Hogg shared his hitting philosophy with the BNN scribes: "Just look for the seams and hit between them... nothin' more than that." This season Hogg has hit at a .356 clip and produced 39 runs batted in, 15 home runs and 26 runs. |
