Mejía Goes Long 3 Times

Jorge Mejía was sending souvenirs to the sun gods all game long in the 29-9 MSL D.C. Divided triumph at MSL Toledo Ballpark today.
The 18-year-old put on a show for fans, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands and powering the Divided past the MSL Toledo Stingers.
"One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight," Mejía told BNN reporters after the game. "I can't wait until next game. I really feel good at the plate."
The right fielder went 4-for-5, rung up 6 RBIs and scored 4 runs on his record-setting day.
Jorge Mejía singled in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Manchu Yong in the 4th, walked in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Chong-chun Park in the 5th, walked in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Frenk Reugebrink in the 8th.
Mejía on the season is batting .309 with 11 home runs. His totals include 29 RBIs and 24 runs scored. He has played in 29 games.
