van Osch Slams 5 Hits for MSL Panama City Wednesday, July 20th , 2050 It's not something you read about in the sports pages every day -- a 5-for-7 day. For many, it might come around only once in a career -- and for Marco van Osch, it came around today. The 17-year-old left fielder scattered hits all over MSL Panama City Ballpark to pace the MSL Panama City Piranhas to a 6-5 victory over the MSL Charleston Battery. MSL Charleston skipper Stephen Richards told reporters in the press room that "van Osch deserves a hat-tip." "He hit some good pitches against us," he said. "In fact, according to our scouting reports, van Osch hit several that he is not supposed to be able to hit." Marco van Osch hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, singled in the 8th, flied out in the 10th, struck out in the 12th and singled in the 14th. van Osch is currently batting .321 with no home runs and 2 RBIs.
