3MSL's #1 Player, Hernández of MSL Detroit Monday, July 18th , 2050 A hot-hitting week got Alfredo Hernández the M3L Mexican Summer League Player of the Week trophy. He really wore out his welcome with league pitchers. The MSL Detroit right fielder slammed them for a .615 average, 8 hits in 13 at-bats, 1 home run, 2 RBIs and scored 1 run. In the postgame press conference, Hernández shared his hitting philosophy with the BNN scribes: "Just look for the seams and hit between them... nothin' more than that." So far this year Hernández has hit .348 with 4 home runs, 9 RBIs and 22 runs scored. |
