Aguilar Grabs SMSL Reliever of the Year Award Wednesday, September 14th , 2050 He may only be 16, but Esteban Aguilar of the MSL Ft. Worth Cattlemen has already established himself as one of the elite relievers in the USSL Mexican Summer League. The reliever was today named the SMSL Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2050. He won the award with a strong year that saw him put up 9 saves in 17 relief appearances and 26 strikeouts in 17.2 innings. He had a record of 1-0 to go with his 0.00 ERA. He received 7 first place votes out of a possible 10. Tony Arce of the MSL Boston Patriots finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while Kun Kim of the MSL Long Island Lighthouse finished third.
