Andrews Has 25-Game Hitting Streak Thursday, July 28th , 2050 MSL Ft. Worth lost to the MSL Pittsburgh Kingfishers 8-4 at MSL Ft. Worth Ballpark today, but Jack Andrews kept his consecutive-game hitting streak alive with 2 hits. The Cattlemen shortstop has now delivered hits in 25 straight games. "Jack has a nice streak going, but the scoreboard tells the important story today," MSL Ft. Worth manager Mike Simpson told reporters after the game. "We lost, no matter how many hits anyone had." Jack Andrews singled in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, struck out in the 6th and singled in the 8th. In his stats this season, Andrews has posted a batting average of .414 with 53 hits in 128 at-bats, 5 home runs and 22 RBIs. He has also scored 18 runs, walked 11 times and compiled a .455 OBP. |
