Andrews Runs Hit String to 20 Straight Games Wednesday, July 13th , 2050 Jack Andrews collected 1 hit in today's game and extended his hitting streak to 20 games. His club, the MSL Ft. Worth Cattlemen, beat the MSL Baltimore Bullets 7-1. "Right now, when they throw me the ball, it looks the size of a softball," Andrews quipped to a BNN reporter after the game. "I'm excited about how things are clicking." Jack Andrews flied out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, grounded out in the 7th and struck out in the 9th. Currently Andrews is batting .414 with 5 home runs and 20 RBIs. |
