The future looks extremely bright for Gregory Hartman. At the age of 18, many players are still trying to find their way in USPL Mexican Summer League.

Hartman has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the USPL Mexican Summer League Most Valuable Player Award.

"I didn't expect to hit .404 this year, that's for sure," the left fielder said.

The MSL Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids star also put up a .475 on-base percentage this year, with 63 hits, 9 doubles, no triples, 15 home runs, 57 RBIs and 35 runs scored.

He received 5 first place votes out of a possible 10. Dale McKinney of the MSL Colorado Billy Goats finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while Juan Salazar of the MSL Greenville 84s finished third with 2 first place votes.
