Silva Scores PMSL Best Hurler Honors Saturday, September 17th , 2050 The USPL Mexican Summer League announced today that Norberto Silva has been chosen the Pitcher of the Year Award winner for 2050. The MSL Buffalo starter had everything working for him this past season as he breezed to a 6-1 record. In his award-winning season Silva crafted a 2.31 ERA in 70 innings with 61 strikeouts and 17 walks. Opposing batters hit .232 against him in his 9 starts. He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Roberto Hernández of the MSL Buffalo White Walkers finished second in voting, while Frank Wilson of the MSL Colorado Billy Goats finished third.
