Yong Takes PMSL Top Starter Trophy Thursday, September 1st , 2050 Last month was a very good one for Jin-u Yong of MSL Mississippi. So good that he has been picked as the Pitcher of the Month in the USPL Mexican Summer League. Yong throttled league hitters the entire month, completing August with an impressive 3-0 mark and a 2.01 ERA in 3 starts with 22 strikeouts in 22.1 innings. In 15 starts this year Yong has posted 4 wins while suffering 6 losses. He has pitched 93 innings, allowed 97 hits, struck out 95 and has a 5.13 ERA. |
