Hit Streak Now at 20 for García Monday, August 23rd , 2049 Anastasio García has been ripping hits every day for a while now, and nobody seems able to stop him. The MSL Mississippi right fielder picked up 2 more today against the MSL Greenville 84s and now has a 20-game hitting streak. The Mockingbirds won the game 23-6. "Definitely somebody's going to stop me at some point," he said later, chuckling. "I'll enjoy it for the time being." Anastasio García singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd and was hit by a pitch in the 4th. Posting a .396 batting average to date, García has 1 home run and 55 RBIs. |
