3A- Trophy Goes to Gusmán of Long Island Monday, August 22nd , 2050 Nobody in the M3L Low A had a better week than José Gusmán... Noooo-body! That's why he was voted the Player of the Week. During the week the Long Island first baseman compiled a .500 batting average (10-for-20) with 3 home runs, 6 runs batted in and scored 7 runs. Thus far this year Gusmán is hitting .283 with 21 home runs, 57 RBIs and 54 runs scored. |
