Allen's Strong Week Earns 3A- Trophy Monday, August 15th , 2050 Long Island fans have something to crow about today as Long Island center fielder Tynan Allen nabbed the M3L Low A Player of the Week Award for his performance over the last seven days. "I know there are times when it's hard to lay off pitches. Everyone goes through stretches when he's too eager to put the ball in play. You know, though, I feel like this past week I was able to get in the right frame of mind and just let things come naturally," said Allen. He posted a .444 average (8-for-18) this past week with 3 home runs, 8 RBIs, and 4 runs scored. In his season totals, Allen has 11 home runs, .270 BA, .332 OBP, 44 RBIs and 29 runs scored. He has played in 66 games. |
