Hitting Streak Still Alive for Kwon
Saturday, July 30th , 2050
With 1 hit at Trash Panda Field today, Jung-min Kwon added another game to his hitting streak -- the Watford City catcher has now hit safely for 20 games in a row. But the hitting feat wasn't enough for the Trash Pandas today, as they fell, 6-2, to the Canonniers de Quebec.
"Frankly, I don't care about hits," Canonniers de Quebec manager Tommy Wade said later. "I'll let him get 3 hits in 3 at-bats if it means we get a win." Jung-min Kwon grounded out in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 7th and walked in the 8th.
This season Kwon is batting .387 with 2 home runs. His totals include 10 RBIs and 12 runs scored.
