Sea Dogs Cruz Out Rest Of Season Friday, July 29th , 2050 Albert Cruz has to call it a season. The Maine Sea Dogs second baseman sustained a season-ending injury against the Long Island Ducks and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Cruz was injured while colliding with a player at a base. His doctors diagnosed it as a broken kneecap and stated that he would not be able to play for 9 months. Thus far in 2050 Cruz is hitting .239 with 1 home run, 14 RBIs, 16 runs scored and has compiled a .298 OBP. |
