Price Booms 3 Homers Friday, July 1st , 2050 The old superstition that "bad news comes in threes" certainly came true for the Moose Jaw Canucks today. Watford City first baseman Lance Price tripled up on the home runs to propel the Trash Pandas to the 10-8 win at Foresters Stadium. "We had our chances to win the game, but we just didn't come through," Moose Jaw manager Dan Fletcher said. "Price hit the heck out of the ball." In addition to the homers, Price collected 3 hits in 5 at-bats, 4 RBIs and scored 3 runs. "Easy swings get you home runs," he said after the game. "I kept telling myself not to press. They have to be nice and easy swings." Lance Price hit a solo-shot off René Bossard in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off René Bossard in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Orlando Uribe in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th. Hitting .339 to date, Price has 26 home runs and 60 RBIs. He has played in 46 games. |
