Postseason Bid Ends for Amarillo Tuesday, August 30th , 2050 It's not quite the championship run that fans in Amarillo might have envisioned. The Amarillo Warheads were mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. "There are a lot of good clubs in USSL Low A and unfortunately we couldn't quite make it into that elite group this year," said Warheads manager Terry Johnson. This is the 8th time in a row that the Warheads have missed the playoffs.Their last payoff appearance was in 2032. |
