Star of the Week Named in SA- Monday, August 8th , 2050 Luzvimindo Layug of the Ogallala Octopi was locked in all week as he bullied the pitchers he faced. Layug put up some great numbers and hauled in the USSL Low A Player of the Week trophy. He hit .412 with 3 home runs and 8 RBIs. The 20-year-old center fielder also scored 8 runs and for the week went 7-for-17. A look at his current stats shows Layug with a .317 average, 19 home runs, 56 RBIs and 52 runs scored.
