RF Pyon Receives 3-Game Suspension Sunday, August 7th , 2050 Bompton will not have the services of right fielder Yun-tae Pyon for several days. The league commissioner has suspended him for 3 games for arguing a third strike call. The altercation occurred in yesterday's contest with the Bethlehem Angel Kitties and involved the home plate umpire. Riled up by being called out, Pyon slightly shoved him after he was ejected. In baseball it is taboo to touch an umpire. Pyon is batting at a .297 pace this season, picking up 44 hits in 148 at-bats with 5 home runs, 12 RBIs and 18 runs scored. |
