Pavlakakis Hurls No-Hitter Saturday, May 7th , 2050 Excitement reigned at The Target today as Beaumont Crossbeaus hurler Zosimo Pavlakakis tossed a baseball rarity -- a no-hitter. After defeating the Tulsa Otters, 2-0, he was swamped by reporters in the clubhouse for postgame comments. "I'm just glad to be here," Pavlakakis said. "Today I just went right at the Otters as hard as I could, as long as I could." Pavlakakis chalked up 11 strikeouts and allowed no walks in his superb performance.
