3 Roundtrippers for Jackson
Monday, September 5th , 2050
In a powerful performance that left the fans at Ballpark of Elkhorn City buzzing, Tulsa Otters right fielder Bill Jackson blasted a trio of home runs en route to a 10-7 win over the Athletic Club KC U-21.
"Everything was clicking," Jackson told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them."
Jackson shined brilliantly in the win, with 4 hits in 6 at-bats, 4 RBIs and 3 runs scored.
"It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Otters manager Ken Beach said. "Bill played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game."
Bill Jackson singled in the 1st, struck out in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Julián Elscudero in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Ralph Meeks in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Armando Valentín in the 8th and grounded out in the 9th.
This year Jackson has 27 home runs and a .272 batting average.
