PA-'s #1 Batter Announced Thursday, September 1st , 2050 Jerrel van Katwijk is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Greenport third baseman joined that select company when the USPL Low A announced the results of August's voting. van Katwijk totaled 31 hits, 10 walks, 8 home runs, 24 RBIs and 25 runs scored last month to put together a .378 batting average and .457 on-base percentage. To date this year van Katwijk is batting .298 with 18 home runs. |
