Drinkwater Collects Player of the Week Award Monday, August 1st , 2050 This week Ron Drinkwater, shortstop for the Athletic Club KC U-21, hit everything in sight to win the USPL Low A Player of the Week trophy. He rattled fences and pitchers as he banged out a .583 average and .643 on-base percentage. Drinkwater logged 7 hits in 12 at-bats, 4 home runs, 9 RBIs, 2 walks and scored 4 times. So far this year in 16 games Drinkwater is hitting .474 with 6 home runs, 14 RBIs and 6 runs scored. |
