No-Hitter for Dávila Thursday, July 14th , 2050 Tulsa is abuzz in the wake of a masterful no-hitter by Victor Dávila. The 20-year-old hurler was dominating against the Hicksville Hounds, leading the Otters to a 8-0 win at Hound Pound today. "I could tell early on that it was going to be a long day for us," Hicksville manager Oliver Burrell said afterward. "He made us look real bad. He was that good. And still going strong at the end of the game." Dávila had 8 strikeouts and gave up 2 walks en route to the no-hitter. "Yeah, this was a special day for me," Dávila said. "I had my good stuff and good movement. Good location, too. Even when I made a mistake, I got away with it today." So far this season, Dávila has logged a 6-1 record with a 2.60 ERA.
