Mariachis Out of Playoff Race Monday, August 22nd , 2050 The playoff hopes of the Nuevo Mexico Mariachis -- which were already faint at best -- are now completely extinguished. The team will miss the playoffs this year, being mathematically eliminated from contention today. This is the club's 5th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2045.In total, the Mariachis have missed the playoffs 21 times in their 22-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Mariachis have only made the playoffs once. |
