Cangrejos Fantasmas Dave Lawrence to Miss Year Friday, September 16th , 2050 The season is ending on a bad note for Dave Lawrence, shortstop for the Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Lawrence was hurt against the Lake Minnetonka Love Boats while running the bases. He suffered a broken bone in the elbow and will be out for at least 4 months. For the year Lawrence is batting .237 with 57 hits and 8 home runs. He has scored 26 times and driven in 22. |
