Pine Island Clinches Wild Card Friday, September 16th , 2050 The manager of the Pine Island Dolphins is reminding the city of Pine Island to "keep the faith" as the team heads into the playoffs as a wild card team. "We believe in ourselves and we need our fans to believe in us too," said Chua-kah Liu. "We know we can get Pine Island rocking with a great run in the playoffs." It remains to be seen just how deep the Dolphins will be able to go in the playoffs, but confidence appears to be high. "We've got the team to win a championship, I firmly believe that," said center fielder Bobby Kreijling. If the team is successful, it would be the 3rd USSL Double A championship in franchise history. |
