SAA Player of the Week Named Monday, August 15th , 2050 Max Rendell is respected by most Squirrel Hill Pierogis fans for his no-frills style of play. The 24-year-old center fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the USSL Double A Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .450 average (9-for-20) with 1 home run, 4 RBIs and 4 runs scored. This season Rendell has banged out 74 hits in 245 at-bats for a .302 average with 5 home runs. He is getting on base at a .373 pace and his totals also include 27 RBIs and 35 runs scored. |
