Playoffs? No Chance for Bethesda Tuesday, August 9th , 2050 Paul Glover said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the Bethesda Atoms after they missed the USSL Double A playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. Bethesda last appeared in the postseason in 2016. This is their 11th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 12 times in their 13 - year history. Bethesda has won the SL AA Championship 2 times in their history. |
