July's Best Hurler in SAA Is Asmus Monday, August 1st , 2050 Following one of the brightest stretches in his career, the USSL Double A awarded Providence reliever Rodger Asmus July's Pitcher of the Month trophy. He was mesmerizing as he held opponents to a .180 batting average and put together a 2-0 mark, 9 saves, 7 strikeouts and a 2.16 ERA during his 16.2 innings of work. This season Asmus has made 32 relief appearances with 18 saves. His won-lost record is 4-3 with a 2.83 ERA. |
