Super Swinger -- Kreijling Slams 5 Hits Saturday, July 30th , 2050 The 5th time was not the charm for Bobby Kreijling today. The center fielder for the Pine Island Dolphins hit the milestone today at Baby Thunder Dome, but it was the St. Petersburg Thunder that salvaged a 7-6 victory. Kreijling finished with a 5-for-6 line at the plate, and it still wasn't enough. "He was not an easy out, that's for sure," St. Petersburg manager Emílio Sáenz said to the press in the postgame interview. "I'm just glad we held everybody else in check and got the win." Kreijling declined to speak to reporters at length following the game, saying only that "no loss is a good one." Bobby Kreijling doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 7th, doubled in the 9th and singled in the 11th. This season Kreijling has banged out 80 hits in 268 at-bats for a .299 average with 17 home runs. He is getting on base at a .357 pace and his totals also include 51 RBIs and 50 runs scored.
