Year Over for Atoms Cortés Monday, July 25th , 2050 Claudio Cortés will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Bethesda starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Cortés was injured while throwing a pitch in the Atoms-Screaming Eagles clash at Mercer Island Grounds recently. Doctors said he has a fractured coracoid bone in his shoulder and would be out a minimum of 5 months. This season-to-date Cortés has 1 win and 4 losses and a 4.01 ERA. |
