Injury Setback for Drummers Cisneros Saturday, October 22nd , 2050 All is not well with António Cisneros in his recovery from a stretched elbow ligament. The 23-year-old Drummers starting pitcher has already reached some significant steps in his rehabilitation, but his manager said that the team will continue to be cautious with Cisneros and take his progression one day at a time, especially after the setback yesterday. "Yesterday he was feeling good but he didn't do a lot on the field," he said. "Today he was supposed to be on the field doing light stuff and then gradually start working right back up. I think he overdid it." A post-workout examination revealed that Cisneros had re-injured himself and would now miss at least 9 months because of it. |
