Gómez is Best In SAAA Sunday, October 9th , 2050 Jorge Gómez took USSL Triple A by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 25. For his spectacular campaign, the Bakersfield Nobles star has been named the 2050 USSL Triple A Outstanding Hitter Award recipient. "To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the right fielder. On the season he compiled a .231 batting average to go with a .351 on-base percentage. The native of Bayamón, Puerto Rico also added 11 doubles, 3 triples, 33 home runs, 66 RBIs and 54 runs scored. He received 6 first place votes out of a possible 10.
