Holland Crashes 3 HR Against Santa Barbara
Wednesday, September 14th , 2050
It was a good day for the Pennsauken Flyers and an exceptional one for Lucas Holland. The 26-year-old first baseman sent three bombs out of the park to help the Flyers beat the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes 12-0 at Pennsauken Park.
"When you're in the zone, the game really slows down," Holland said when asked about his performance later. "I couldn't even tell you what pitches were thrown. Today feels great, but it is a long season and tomorrow is another day."
For the day, he scored 3 times, drove in 9 runs and smacked 4 hits in 4 at-bats.
Lucas Holland doubled in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Troy Dalton in the 3rd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Troy Dalton in the 4th and hit a two-run home run off Tim Reese in the 7th.
This year Holland is batting .232 with 23 home runs and 59 RBIs.
