Norfolk Sits Atop Silver AAA Sunday, September 4th , 2050 While it remains to be seen what the playoffs will bring for the Norfolk Pajaritos, the club took the first step by clinching the Silver AAA title. "It's exactly where we wanted to be and where we talked about being during spring training," said second baseman Mito Kawamura. "There's not a guy in the room that doesn't believe in this team. We're all pulling in the same direction right now." It was the team's 6th division title and they will attempt to capture the franchise's 6th USSL Triple A championship. "The end goal hasn't changed - win the SL AAA Championship," said manager José RodrÃguez. "We think we've got the team to do it." |
