Top PAAA Reliever Honored Thursday, October 6th , 2050 He's a veteran presence in the Baton Rouge Brass bullpen and now Anthony Hurst can say he's a 2050 award winner. The bullpen ace was today named the USPL Triple A Reliever of the Year Award winner. "When you're 35 years old, your main objective is to just stay healthy and stay productive. I guess I did that this year," he said. The award was won on the strength of a season that featured 11 saves in 28 relief appearances, with 26 strikeouts in 35.2 innings and a record of 1-2 to go with his 1.26 ERA. He received 9 first place votes out of a possible 10. Francisco Díaz of the Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys finished second in voting, while Félix Hernández of the Sacramento Redlegs finished third with 1 first place vote.
