Dodos Pitts Lost for Year Thursday, September 15th , 2050 When Paul Pitts was hurt against the Baton Rouge Brass, the Hialeah Dodos were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 33-year-old second baseman suffered a ruptured medial collateral ligament running the bases in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Pitts would miss 10 months of the season. Thus far this year Pitts has hit .228 with 1 home run and 17 RBIs. |
