August's Top Starter is Valdéz Thursday, September 1st , 2050 The USPL Triple A announced today that Jorge Valdéz has been chosen the league's Pitcher of the Month. The Salt Lake City starter had everything working for him last month as he glided to a 4-0 record. In August Valdéz chalked up a 2.39 ERA in 26.1 innings with 27 strikeouts and 1 walk. Currently Valdéz has a 10-4 won-lost record in 17 starts with a 2.33 ERA. He also has 90 strikeouts in 112 innings. |
