League Gives Rodríguez 3-Game Suspension Sunday, September 18th , 2050 Florida Men shortstop Ramón Rodríguez was suspended 3 games by the league commissioner today, a day after arguing his ejection during a game against the Hamilton Thunderbirds. "I think the 3 games are a little harsh," Rodríguez said. He was ejected by plate umpire for arguing balls and strikes. After his ejection, Rodríguez went into the dugout, then came back on the field, argued with the umpire and had to be restrained by coaches and teammates. The suspension was issued for "unbecoming conduct and returning to the field of play after being dismissed." In his 2050 season totals, Rodríguez has 6 home runs, .210 BA, .299 OBP, 33 RBIs and 41 runs scored. |
