Disaster End McCooke's Streak Tuesday, September 6th , 2050 The 27-game hitting streak of Todd McCooke has come to an end. The Milton Dogfish Head second baseman went 0-for-3 today in his team's 2-0 loss to the Port Royal Disaster at Milton Corner Tavern. "It's not just Todd who came up short today," Dogfish Head manager Gonzalo Velásquez said in his postgame press conference. "This was a team loss." So far in 2050 McCooke is batting .317 with 4 home runs, 40 RBIs and 68 runs scored. He has 126 hits in 397 at-bats and a .375 OBP. |
