Injury Worsens, Return Delayed for Red Pandas Solís Tuesday, September 6th , 2050 Sioux Falls got some bad news today concerning reliever Javier Solís. He is recovering from elbow inflammation. Club doctors have extended his time of return to 6-7 weeks, saying his injury has not responded well to treatment. It is worse than they first diagnosed. For the year Solís has 16 relief appearances and a 2-3 record with 2 saves. He has logged 16.1 innings and allowed 20 base hits. Opposing clubs have put up a .294 batting average against him. Solís has rung up 17 strikeouts, surrendered 4 walks and fashioned a 4.96 ERA. |
