Year Over for Men Wood Thursday, June 30th , 2050 A blow for Tony Wood today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 7 months with a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament. Wood suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Florida Men are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Wood's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. On the season Wood has delivered 1 saves in 12 relief appearances. He has 14 strikeouts in 28.2 innings with a 2.83 ERA and a 2-0 mark. |
