Toledo Starting Pitcher Wins 3L Rookie of the Year Monday, October 31st , 2050 Toledo's Ken Wright took the hill for 20 starts this year, came away with 12 victories and copped the 2050 Menard's Third League Newcomer of the Year Award as well. The 25-year-old newcomer tossed 132.1 innings and dealt out 141 strikeouts, while holding opposing batters to a .203 average. Wright fashioned a 12-2 won-lost mark with a 2.45 ERA. Lang Ouyang of the Charleston Battery finished second in voting, while Tom Pegum of the Oakland Oaks finished third. |
