Hsiao-lou Rui Named Premier 3L Player
Monday, October 31st , 2050
At the age of 25, Hsiao-lou Rui of the Nashville Outlaws could very well have his best years ahead of him.
It's a startling thought when you consider the year he had in 2050 was good enough to win the left fielder the Menard's Third League Outstanding Hitter Award.
"See the ball, hit the ball," he said. "That's my basic approach."
The top hitter put up a .326 batting average this year, as well as a .409 on-base percentage. He played 108 games and racked up 134 hits, 35 doubles, 1 triple, 21 home runs, 52 RBIs and 70 runs scored.
Lester Threlfall of the Toledo Stingers finished second in voting, while Kalino Iolana of the Toledo Stingers finished third.
