SL's Top Player for 2050 Named Monday, October 31st , 2050 What a way to finish off the year -- being honored with the 2050 Outstanding Hitter Award in the United States Silver League. It had already been a very special season for Baltimore's Jorge Rocha, but today's announcement really put the icing on his cake. All season long Jorge Rocha gave opposing pitchers fits by hitting .326 as he collected 125 hits, 23 doubles, 7 triples, 24 home runs and 76 RBIs. Juan Lugo of the Boston Patriots finished second in voting, while Juan Andrés Martí of the Boston Patriots finished third. |
