Echo Park Loses Lance Barber for Season Thursday, August 25th , 2050 The Echo Park Lakers were dealt a blow today when starting pitcher Lance Barber left the game with an undisclosed injury. The team has now revealed that Barber has suffered radial nerve compression and will most likely miss the rest of the season as a result of the injury. This year Barber has fashioned a 2-1 mark, 2.58 ERA and pitched 38.1 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .259 against him and he has logged 27 strikeouts. |
