SL Star of the Week Picked Monday, August 1st , 2050 24-year-old Wen Mi sent shock waves through United States Silver League last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the United States Silver League Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Mi made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .579 average, 11 hits in 19 at-bats, 2 home runs and 3 runs batted in. Where the Vancouver Grey Wolves left fielder goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Mi certainly made his mark last week. This season Mi is swinging the bat at a .319 pace.
