Crawdads Are Champs of Premier A Tuesday, September 6th , 2050 Let loose, Cut Off fans, your team has won the Premier A. The Cut Off Crawdads have officially captured the crown, the 3rd in franchise history. "We've got a team that can do it all and we think do it just as well as anyone in the league," said starting pitcher Jerry Gray. "I hope no one is taking us lightly once the playoffs start." Certainly the team's division crown will garner them a fair bit of respect, as the 65-30 record puts the club in position for the franchise's 5th USPL Single A championship. "You never get tired of being in the playoffs," said manager Manuel Barrios. "This is what you play for." |
